I recently stayed at a charming hostel close to the Malecon and had a great experience. The atmosphere was delightful, and the people were friendly. The location of the hostel was very convenient, just a short walk from the Malecon. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious, with freshly brewed coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt. The Wi-Fi was fast, which was a bonus. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay in the area.
I did encounter a couple of drawbacks during my stay. there was construction going on, so it was a bit dusty.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the comfort of the bed and the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hostel's location was a definite highlight as well, as it was just a short walk away from the main promenade. This meant I could easily explore the area and soak in the beautiful views of the city. the hostel offered great value for money and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities.
One downside I experienced during my stay was the bathroom situation. Unfortunately, the upstairs bathroom was under construction, so I had to make the trek downstairs whenever I needed to use the restroom or take a shower.

Located within walking distance of the local market and just a short drive from picturesque Balandra beach, this charming hostel offers a convenient base for exploring the area. Guests can enjoy clean and comfortable rooms, with spacious accommodations and a variety of breakfast options including freshly brewed coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, and a selection of cereals. The owners of the property are described as very kind and attentive, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the hostel offers helpful recommendations for exploring the city and arranging excursions to unique beaches.
One aspect that could be improved upon is the availability of bathrooms, as mentioned in one review. During their stay, one of the bathrooms was under construction, requiring guests to use the downstairs facilities.

The breakfast was delicious, with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of fresh fruit. the staff and volunteers were amazing, making me feel connected to the place immediately. the location was convenient, just a short walk from the main attractions.
the room was quite cold and the thin blanket provided was insufficient. It would have been better if the room had better insulation and warmer bedding options.
